A method of preparing canapes with salmon for a festive buffet table
Cut a thick piece of light-salted salmon into 6 identical slices about 2 centimeters wide (a little more or a little less, it depends only on your desire).
Important! At the beginning of work, sharpen your knife well, this is the secret of a beautiful cut.
Cut the crust from white bread, cut the crumb into cubes of the same size as the fish.
Dry the bread in the oven, cool.
Next, cut 6 slices of cheese. It is advisable to take not very salty cream cheese, which emphasizes the taste of fish and caviar.
We make dill oil. We cut dill branches from the stem, chop finely, add to the softened oil.
Pour a few grains of small salt, knead the butter and greens to make a homogeneous mass, cool a little in the refrigerator so that the butter does not creep out, but it is easily spread on bread.
We spread the bread slices with dill oil, on each slice we make the same layer of oil with the same thickness.
Put the salmon on a layer of oil. By the way, you can cook these canapes with any red fish - trout, salmon, chum. The main thing is that the fish is oily.
We put a piece of cream cheese on the fish.
We spread on the cheese a coffee spoon of red caviar. You don’t need a lot of caviar, just a drop for decoration, because both cheese and salmon are quite salty products.
We decorate canapes with sprigs of dill - this greens is best combined with fish and caviar.
We pierce the canapes with bamboo skewers. Before guests arrive, it is advisable to cover the sandwiches with a cap and put in the refrigerator so that they do not dry out and are not windy.
We expose canapes with salmon on the buffet table before the arrival of guests. Enjoy your meal!
If you prepare snacks in advance, then dill branches should be laid out before serving, and before serving, keep the greens in a bowl of ice water.
